Low pressure will move off Japan's east coast on Monday, bringing clear skies and dry weather to much of the nation. A few lingering showers are possible on the west coast.
In China, areas south of Shanghai will see showers and thunderstorms. In Indonesia and the Philippines, wet weather is likely, with some very heavy downpours throughout portions of the Philippines.
Australia will see rainfall from two storms. The first storm will affect the east coast, from around Brisbane southward. Precipitation will move inland, and could bring significant rainfall to some locations.
The second storm to hit the country will arrive late in the day as a southern Indian Ocean low sends a cold front into the west coast. A period of heavy rainfall is likely, as are high winds for the coast south of Geraldton.
